Sandra Francis Paintings

The recent rough seas and crashing waves inspired me to do this painting. The vertical format is ideal to get the height of the spray and I particularly liked the sweep and curve of the spray going up. I enjoyed doing the speckle and texture of the spray and the foam in the foreground. It is on a deep edge canvas and the painting which continues round the sides means no need to frame.
